The Chris Eger Band’s new project “Show Me Where to Sign” is out! This album was recorded in Nashville with Chris’ guitar hero, Eric Heatherly, as producer. It features tunes written by Eric, Chris, Nashville Blues great –Stacy Mitchart, as well as co-founder of Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, MS – Gary Vincent. Notable musicians include Bekka Bramlett, Double Trouble’s Reese Wynans and some of the most prolific studio players in Nashville. This high-energy record blends straight electric Blues with blue-eyed Soul, Hendrix inspired classic Rock, and horn infused Funk. It is a fresh take on vintage, guitar music for the 21st Century!

Very few musicians are said to be extraordinary examples of excellence in any one genre of music. Even fewer can be called exceptional across multiple. When considering Chris Eger fits into the latter category as both a guitarist AND vocalist, it is no doubt an especially rare gift. From Rock and Blues, to Country, Funk and Soul, The Chris Eger Band is: REAL. AMERICAN. MUSIC.

Signing with Premier Records Inc. at the start of 2014, The CEB is lead by guitarist/vocalist Chris Eger displaying versatile, inspiring guitar work and powerful tenor vocals. A bonafied “quadruple threat,” Eger is a multi-instrumentalist, sensational vocalist, accomplished songwriter, and kick-butt showman. Chris is backed by bassist and father Randall Eger, who has over 35 years of live performance experience. Drummer, Mark Clark, is a veteran of the Northwest music scene, playing with the likes of the New Deal Rhythm Band and the Chryslers. Clark brings a solid, funky foundation to the group. Many shows also feature the Powerhouse Horns from Seattle. Their addition is always impressive.

The band’s high-energy performances always please crowds and are constant signatures of what the cast brings. The band is tight, fun, and dishes out plenty of soul! It’s no wonder they constantly attract new fans as well as amaze longtime followers.

CEB has shared billings with many great artists including: Grand Funk Railroad, Average White Band, Lonestar, Jamie O’Neal, Los Lonely Boys, Bad Company, Vicci Martinez, Hamilton Loomis, Leon Russell, Ana Popovic, Fat James, Matt Schofield, Kal David, Curtis Salgado, and more!

BABY CAKES

Baby Cakes is a 9-piece powerhouse of highly experienced and talented musicians taking their audiences on a luxurious joyride through the golden age of American Soul, funk, and R&B. Featuring male and female lead vocals, full horn and rhythm sections, Baby Cakes brings to life the spirit, energy, and emotion of the most classic popular music in history. Playing everything from Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, and Earth, Wind, and Fire to Beyonce and Bruno Mars, Baby Cakes is a multi-generational experience that will make you want to dance the night away.

Baby Cakes is also now writing, performing, and recording a suite of new original songs in the spirit of Muscle Shoals. With a combined total of more than 70 years of performance experience, Baby Cakes has earned the label, Supergroup.

Drummer and Manager, Kevin Chryst, known widely as Kreestoe, electrifies on the sticks, his brown dreadlocks flying in step with the music, the joy of the work emanating from his face. That energy is balanced well by Baby Cakes’ keyboardist, Richard Keene’s, unparalleled concentration. Including Chryst, Baby Cakes rhythm section, made up of bassist, Jeff Ballew, phenomenal guitarist and vocalist, Miles Harris solidly back Baby Cakes’ diminutive lead vocalist, Stephanie Walbon. Her continually impressive vocals reach incredible heights with steady power.

The Cakes' horn section impresses. Trumpet Jeremiah Austin’s intensity meshes well with Cakes’ solid trombone, Mars Lindgren. Tyler Rogers and Tom Garcia bring the saxophones that make the horns shine.

Baby Cakes memorable sound is rounded out nicely by the supporting vocals of Ebony Harris.

Hailing from the Bellingham area, Baby Cakes performs throughout the Pacific Northwest. They've won several awards including Bellingham Alive Magazine's Best of the Northwest Silver 2016 and What's Up! Magazine's 'Best Up Close and Personal' and 'Best Booty Shakin'.
